Base Pay Range $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr
Assembly of AWP Aerial Work Platforms used in the equipment rental, building and construction industries.
Major Functions
Handling, positioning, and placing components or sub-assemblies according to safety rules and available means (crane, slings, hand and power tools, etc.)
Assembling components according to assembly processes
Performing visual assessments of work (compliance of the various assemblies, components, labeling, designs, etc.)
Verifying the assembly/disassembly (appearance, parallelism, play, retention, operation, etc.) and correcting minor deviations (cleaning threads, cleaning bores)
Maintaining production tools in good condition (wrenches, torque wrenches, screw drivers, etc.)
Communicating regularly and effectively with his/her manager, supervisor, and/or team leader
May assist with the training of new employees
Will be proactive in reducing the impact of or resolving problems
Other related duties as assigned
Experience and Education
Able to read blueprints and work orders in English
Able to work closely with team members in an assembly line/work cell environment and also independently
Must be able to learn all positions within the work cell
Must be PC literate and able to use hand-held scanner
Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and good attendance
Must have your own reliable transportation
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently without any restrictions
Forklift experience preferred
Salary:
$17.00 per hour
