Pure Barre Teacher/Instructor

As a Pure Barre teacher, you will lead a community where members go to feel empowered, be held accountable, find support, motivation and gratitude and most of all find encouragement to live healthier lives. POSITION: Pure Barre is a community centered around fitness. We are currently expanding our San Diego teaching team starting with Pure Barre Hillcrest and seeking a qualified Barre Instructor who is able to lead up to 20 participants through the Pure Barre experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Availability to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week including at least one weekend obligation a month (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays) At home class preparation for each session taught Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis Assist with keeping the studio tidy Be an ambassador to the Pure Barre technique, which utilizes small isometric forms of movement and targeting the major muscle groups for a full body workout Lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 50-minute class REQUIREMENTS: Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service Active lifestyle Dependable with a strong work ethic - natural willingness to go above and beyond Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music Background in fitness (ideal but not required) All candidates are required to pay for their own certification All candidates are required to complete a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers or virtually on Zoom 30-60 days of at home and in-studio preparation is expected after completing training for full certification Minimum one-year commitment to teaching required before attending 4-day training COMPENSATION & PERKS: This position offers a very competitive base rate at $24 per session Opportunity to increase pay for additional Pure Barre certifications acquired Huge opportunities for growth within the studios including additional sales and management positions Flexible scheduling as needed Free unlimited membership to Pure Barre while employed Employee Retail Discounts Reimbursement for training fees Compensation: $24.00 per hour join the pure barre family.
