Mortgage Paralegal Specialist (Default)
Job Summary Agility 360 is sourcing for a detail‑oriented Paralegal to join our client's legal team. Our client is looking to hire qualified people with enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of our team. Prefer candidates with 1-3 years of foreclosure/bankruptcy/eviction experience representing debtors, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers and official creditors’ committees. Candidates with a thorough understanding of the processes of foreclosure/bankruptcy/eviction rules and procedures are preferred, but not required. Our ideal candidates must be pro‑active and able to manage their own files, seek out new challenges and strive to improve current skills while learning new ones. Must have positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment!
Must also possess knowledge with filing court cases, preparing judgments and writs, E‑filing, and have the ability to work a file from inception through the litigation process, including but not limited to preparing pleadings, summons & complaints, objections, and motions.
Duties
Assist attorneys with case preparation and management
Conduct legal research using various tools such as Westlaw
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Organize and maintain legal files and documents
Transcribe dictations and prepare summaries
Manage legal case calendars and deadlines
Communicate professionally with clients and court personnel
Utilize iManage or similar software for document management
Qualifications
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven experience working as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department
Proficiency in legal case management and administrative tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with legal research methods and resources
Ability to draft legal documents accurately
Knowledge of legal software such as iManage is a plus
Excellent phone etiquette for client communication

Permanent role with Law Firm client based out of Dallas, Texas
Pay rate based on experience
