Job Title: Massage Therapist
Location: Perth Amboy Office (Primary) Statewide Event Travel Required
Position Summary: We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic services to our patients in our Perth Amboy office and at community and organizational events throughout New Jersey. This role combines in-office patient care with representation of the practice at wellness events, health fairs, and outreach activities.
A monthly travel stipend will be provided to support attendance at off-site events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage therapy services to patients in the Perth Amboy office when not attending events
- Perform a variety of massage modalities based on patient needs, treatment plans, and provider recommendations
- Participate in scheduled events, health fairs, corporate wellness events, and community outreach throughout the state
- Represent the practice professionally while engaging with attendees, answering general questions, and promoting services
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided in accordance with practice policies and applicable regulations
- Ensure treatment rooms and event stations are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support excellent patient experience
- Follow scheduling, arrival, setup, and breakdown requirements for off-site events
Travel Requirement & Stipend: This position requires regular travel within New Jersey for events. A monthly travel stipend will be provided. When not traveling for events, the therapist will work onsite at the Perth Amboy office.
Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey Massage Therapy License in good standing
- Proof of liability insurance (if required by state regulations or practice policy)
- Prior clinical or wellness-based massage therapy experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently at events and collaboratively in the office
- Willingness and ability to travel statewide as needed, including some evenings or weekends depending on event schedules
Work Environment:
- Primary work performed in a clinical office setting in Perth Amboy
- Additional work performed at indoor and outdoor events throughout New Jersey
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly or salaried compensation (to be determined by employer)
- Monthly travel stipend for statewide events

Pay Transparency Statement: In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, this role falls within Pay Grade 7 of the 2025 OPM Salary Table for the NY, NJ, CT, and PA region. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education.
FLSA Classification Non-Exempt:Based on a review of the primary duties and responsibilities of this position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this role is classified as Non-Exempt. The Massage Therapist position involves the direct provision of hands-on therapeutic services and does not meet the duties or salary-basis requirements for exemption under the executive, administrative, or learned professional classifications. Employees in this position are therefore eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and applicable state wage and hour laws.
