Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for a leave of absence assignment in a K-12 school setting, starting in March through the end of the school year. This opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse Pre-K through 12 caseload, providing essential therapy services to support students' developmental and academic needs. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions to Pre-K through 12 students under the supervision of the occupational therapist. Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Document and track student progress accurately and report to appropriate educational and medical personnel. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student participation and success. Qualifications: Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Tennessee. Experience working within a school setting is preferred. Ability to manage a caseload across a wide age range from Pre-K to 12th grade. Strong communication skills and capability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Location: Hendersonville, Tennessee Contract Details: Leave coverage from March through the end of the school year. Full-time position with a Pre-K through 12 caseload.
