Overview The Associate Broker will support the brokerage team in placing complex and specialized insurance risks for clients. This role involves working closely with brokers, underwriters, and clients to ensure the delivery of tailored insurance solutions. The Associate Broker will assist in managing accounts, preparing submissions, and negotiating terms with carriers while developing expertise in the specialty insurance market. How you'll make an impact * Account Management: * Assist brokers in managing client accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business. * Prepare and review insurance submissions for accuracy and completeness. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams. * Market Placement: * Collaborate with brokers to identify appropriate markets and negotiate terms with carriers. * Analyze coverage options and pricing to recommend the best solutions for clients. * Monitor market trends and carrier appetites to identify opportunities for growth. * Documentation and Compliance: * Ensure all documentation, including proposals, binders, and policies, is accurate and compliant with company and regulatory standards. * Maintain up-to-date records in the agency management system. * Client Support: * Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional service to address their insurance needs. * Assist in resolving coverage or claims issues in collaboration with brokers and carriers. * Professional Development: * Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes. * Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of specialty insurance products and markets. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience required. License required. #LI-MS4 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
