We are a growing mortgage company seeking a highly experienced, exceptionally organized, and extremely driven professional to join our team as a Loan Officer Assistant, with the opportunity to also support and originate loans independently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and learns new systems quickly. You will work closely with a Loan Officer currently averaging 5 loans per month, while also helping drive efficiency, quality, and growth.
Responsibilities
Support the Loan Officer in managing and processing loan applications to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process.
Assist in maintaining client relationships by delivering exceptional service and addressing inquiries promptly.
Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the Loan Officer to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
Monitor the loan pipeline and update stakeholders on the status of applications, fostering transparency and trust.
Facilitate communication between clients, underwriters, and other team members to streamline the loan process efficiently.
Qualifications
NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired.
Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team.
Experience in the mortgage industry, with a solid understanding of loan processes and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion of loan applications.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, fostering strong client relationships.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance.
Effective communication skills, facilitating clear and supportive interactions with clients and team members.
Proficiency in using loan processing software and other relevant technology to streamline operations.
Ability to work collaboratively with Loan Officers and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Compensation $37,500 per year
