Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Shop Technician/Fitter/Welder
to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be a
Certified AWS Welder
with experience in
FCAW welding , and a strong background working in a
fabrication floor environment . Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings for accurate fit-up and assembly Perform fit-up and weld-out of fabricated materials according to specifications Operate shop equipment including saws, iron workers, and other fabrication tools Stock and organize steel supplies and maintain an efficient workspace Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time Qualifications
AWS Welding Certification (FCAW required) Proven experience in a fabrication or welding shop environment Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and prints Familiarity with standard shop tools and machinery Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy materials Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods Benefits Available
