Responsibilities
Located in Meridian, Mississippi, Alliance Health Center is a 154‑bed acute care psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital that offers treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and seniors. The campus also houses The Crossings, a 60‑bed residential treatment facility for adolescents.
Under the direction of the HIM Director, the Medical Records Tech will perform discharge analysis, identify deficiencies, manage release of information, conduct general medical record functions, and perform all duties within the department to ensure the success of the HIM team and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications
Degree in Medical Records Coding, Medical Records Technology/Assistant, or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred)
Minimum of one year(s) experience in medical records (must)
Strong organizational and computer skills (must)
Ability to work in a confidential manner and observe all HIPAA rules
Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with the public
