Personal Injury Coordinator – Killeen, TX, US

Job Purpose:
The Personal Injury Coordinator will assist the Manager in overseeing the day‑to‑day functions of the personal injury treatment process.
Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and clients throughout the personal injury claims process.
Collects and organizes all necessary documentation related to patients’ cases.
Communicates with insurance carriers, medical providers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
Schedules appointments and follow‑up meetings with patients and legal team.
Maintains accurate and up‑to‑date records of all patient interactions and case details.
Assists with drafting legal documents and correspondence as needed.
Processes and documents scheduling requests from law firms, referring physicians, or self‑referrals.
Uploads individual records and corresponding Letters of Protection to each patient’s account, located under the respective firm’s account profile.
Assists in managing personal injury emails and incoming correspondence. Contacts each respective firm within 24 hours to process their request.
Manages and updates various reports for optimal tracking of pending authorizations.
Properly manages records, uploads them into the appropriate account and patient’s chart.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
2 or more years of work experience in a legal support role, preferably personal injury law.
Bi‑lingual required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must be able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
Must possess good problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of personal injury cases and treatment processes.
Working Conditions Medical Office environment.
Physical Conditions
Must be able to work as scheduled—typically from 8:00 – 5:00 M-F.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to bend, stoop and stretch.
Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment, etc.
Knowledge and Skills
Must be highly self‑motivated.
Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with e‑mail, text and phone. Must include written and verbal skills.
Effectively manages day by organizing and prioritizing.
Protects patient information and maintains confidentiality.
Salary:
$20–$25/hr.
