Tessera is seeking a motivated and hard-working Stock Clerk with a positive, can-do, helpful attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Turn-In:

Receives equipment from customers, determines serviceability, checks for cleanliness, ensures documentation on the Turn-In Worksheet, and obtains managerial approval for items not meeting standards.

Issue:

Determines equipment is clean, serviceable and appropriately sized; distributes to customers; documents each item on the Issue Worksheet.

Customer Service:

Supports customers, maintains appointment schedules, ensures proper paperwork, assists with assembly/disassembly, and prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Direct Exchange:

Executes turn-in and issue tasks for exchanges, ensuring all transactions are documented.

Maintains Workstation/Back Stock Area:

Organizes items on shelves or bins; maintains a fully stocked workstation capable of 150 issues per day; cleans, boxes excess items, posts labels, and provides pull lists at day end.

Conducting Inventories:

Conducts monthly inventories, assists with equipment preparation, counts all equipment, and posts accurate counts.

DRMO & Classification:

Classifies equipment for serviceability and Condition Code, demilitarizes unserviceable items, counts, sorts, and boxes excess equipment, and reports to Stock Control Branch.

Barcode Scanning System:

Uses handheld barcode scanner to process issues, turn-ins, and exchanges, and inputs data into CIF-ISM.

IOTV:

Assembles and disassembles all Body Armor Vest versions; maintains quality standards; issues body armor as required.

Maintains general cleanliness of the Central Issue Facility and grounds.

Repairs and cleans equipment as needed using small hand tools.

Reports quality control complaints or issues to the Stock Clerk Lead; strives for highest quality standards.

Ensures safety and housekeeping standards; wears appropriate PPE.

Assembles and disassembles equipment as required; maintains neat appearance and appropriate clothing.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of stock clerk experience preferred.

Working knowledge of a Central Issuing Facility preferred.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to respond to inquiries.

Ability to communicate in a clear, effective, and professional manner.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours.

Standing or sitting for several hours; climbing in and out of a vehicle and stairs may also be required.

Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

Requirements:

A valid state driver’s license preferred; ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.

Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. Background check and E-Verify will be conducted.

Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID‑compliant driver’s license or an acceptable alternative such as a U.S. passport or military ID.
