Everstaff is currently supporting a respected law firm in identifying a skilled Commercial Real Estate / Finance Paralegal for a full-time position within their growing real estate and finance practice. This role requires a highly organized professional with strong title and survey review experience and the ability to manage transactions from inception through closing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end commercial real estate and finance transactions.
Order, review, and analyze title commitments, surveys, search reports, and related documentation.
Coordinate due diligence for complex commercial and residential real estate matters.
Track contract critical dates and prepare/manage closing checklists.
Assist with closings, including drafting and reviewing conveyance documents, closing statements, escrow documentation, and transfer tax forms.
Handle post-closing requirements, including closing binders and follow-up deliverables.
Draft correspondence, memoranda, abstracts, lease summaries, and loan document summaries.
Review and summarize UCC, judgment, lien, tax, and related searches.
Prepare and file deeds, mortgages, UCC financing statements, and other real estate filings.
Draft and review contracts associated with commercial real estate matters.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate and/or finance paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
Strong understanding of title and survey review, commercial closings, and real estate finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with iManage and Aderant is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) strongly preferred.
