CDL Yard Driver – Buffalo, New York Work schedule:
Part‑time (2–3 days/week minimum) with the potential to shift to full‑time depending on business needs/seasonality.
Job Summary The Yard Driver is responsible for facilitating day‑to‑day yard operations to provide a safe and effective way of transporting Lactalis products to and from our distribution centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct movement of trailers in the yard and to off‑site storage locations.
Maintain adherence to all safety programs.
Support the truck maintenance schedule.
Perform and log yard tasks using the yard management system and in‑cab tablets.
Support required yard audits to ensure equipment is functioning properly and product temperatures are maintained.
Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of all employees and contributes to the company’s overall performance and success.
Travel and/or extended or off‑work hours may be required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in transportation and/or commercial driving (previous yard experience preferred).
CDL – Class A license required.
Clean MVR (driving record) and ability to complete pre‑hire DOT drug screening & DOT physical.
