Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee our commercial concrete construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and commercial construction, with the ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate various aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. * Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration on all project phases. * Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely project completion. * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions as necessary. * Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, logs, and contracts, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a strong focus on concrete work. * In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety standards. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. * Preferred experience in high rise, flatwork, health care, or vertical construction projects.
