Overview: ExecuSource is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support two personal injury attorneys and senior paralegals within a fast-paced litigation environment. This role plays a key part in case management, trial preparation, binder creation, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced supporting attorneys in a personal injury or civil litigation setting.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files according to firm procedures

* Assist with preparing discovery materials, exhibits, pleadings, and case binders

* Track and manage case deadlines, hearings, depositions, and court filings

* Draft and proofread correspondence, discovery responses, and legal documents for attorney review

* Prepare comprehensive trial, mediation, and arbitration binders

* Coordinate logistics for trial preparation, including exhibits, document management, and vendor communication

* Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, courts, and opposing counsel

* Schedule depositions, mediations, client meetings, and other proceedings

* Update case management systems with notes, deadlines, and action items

* Support attorneys with calendar management, travel coordination, and administrative tasks

* Provide general office support including scanning, copying, and organizing documents

* Assist with firm projects, audits, and additional administrative initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm, preferably in personal injury or civil litigation

* Strong knowledge of legal procedures, discovery rules, and court filing processes

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (e.g., Needles, Filevine)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach

* Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and effective time management skills

* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree or Paralegal Certificate

* Bilingual (English/Spanish)

* Experience preparing trial notebooks and organizing exhibits

* Familiarity with Texas state and federal e-filing systems
