Post-Production Auto Technician
Join Carvana as a Post-Production Auto Technician. We’re looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 1‑3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.
As a Brake & Tire Technician, you’ll be expected to perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires, and performing routine inspections/maintenance. Duties also include basic mechanical repair for brake pads/calipers/rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments.

Role We have a variety of Technician roles in our Inspection Centers, depending on your level of experience.
Entry‑Level Auto Technician – minimum 6 months professional experience: perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct the initial inspection.
Brake and Tire Technician – minimum 1 year professional experience: perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires.
Mid‑Level (Mechanical Repair/Build/General) Technician – minimum 3 years: perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics.
Experienced Technician – minimum 5 years: perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
General Qualifications And Requirements
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools – must lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
Use of safety equipment including, but not limited to, face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
