Position: Superintendent
Location: South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Lee Counties)
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the day-to- day field operations of our commercial and multifamily ground-up projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, scheduling expertise,and the ability to manage field personnel, subcontractors, and project logistics from
mobilization through close-out.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and coordinate all field operations on assigned projects to ensure quality, schedule, and budget goals are met. - Supervise subcontractors, field crews, and laborers to maintain jobsite safety, productivity, and compliance with project specifications. - Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. - Collaborate closely with Project Managers to review drawings, submittals, and specifications, and resolve field conflicts. - Conduct and document daily reports, site logs, safety meetings, and progress photos in Procore. - Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA standards. - Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and quality-control activities. - Lead weekly OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and subcontractor meetings. - Assist in developing and maintaining 'as-built' drawings and punch lists.
Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor, overseeing ground-up commercial and/or multifamily projects. - Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing. - Proficient in Procore, Primavera, and Microsoft Project. - Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
