Bridge Superintendent
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $90k-$150k
Position Overview The Bridge Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridge construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations and manage construction activities on bridge projects. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met. * Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on site. * Assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities and resources. * Manage and supervise field personnel to maintain optimal productivity and morale.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Superintendent in bridge construction or heavy civil projects. * Strong understanding of roadway construction and structural engineering principles. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
