CareGivers, Inc. is an Indiana-based, privately owned home health care agency that was founded in 1990 by two women with more than 50 years of combined health care experience and a dedication to patient dignity and independence. All of our staff are licensed, certified and insured professionals who share this commitment through a variety of services available 24/7 or for just a few hours a week.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This rewarding position allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of others by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Assist with mobility and transfers
Administer medication reminders
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Follow all HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
Skills:
Experience in hospice care, caregiving, or home care is preferred
Ability to clean and maintain a safe environment for clients
Proficient in meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate nature and ability to provide quality care with empathy
