Assistant Designer
Position Overview The Assistant Designer will support a creative design team on a variety of projects from initial concept through final production. This role partners closely with a Senior Designer and is ideal for someone with strong graphic and illustration abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive, flexible approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of print designs across multiple collections.
Build and update linesheets to accurately reflect current product assortments.
Create detailed tech packs and specifications to hand off to production teams.
Design branding and packaging elements such as hangtags, carding, and gift or display boxes.
Collaborate with a Senior Designer on client-focused projects and seasonal initiatives.
Photograph trims, hardware, and other product details for internal reference and presentations.
Perform photo editing, retouching, and organization of digital design assets.
Provide general design and administrative support to the team as needed.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strength in graphic and illustrative design.
Strong grasp of core design principles and a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills and comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs.
Preferred Experience
Background or prior work experience in kids or juniors fashion accessories or apparel is a plus.
