JOB SUMMARY
Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Mechanic to test and adjust repaired systems, repair engine components, brake, steering, and air‑bag systems, perform vehicle alignments, and test components using diagnostic equipment. Mechanics must repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
Repair or replace engine components, brake systems, steering, and air‑bag systems.
Perform vehicle alignments.
Use computerized diagnostic devices to test components and systems.
Adhere to Caliber and OEM repair standards.
Maintain safety and profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
3 years of automotive repair experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Currently own or be willing to obtain proper tools to complete job duties.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Physical ability to perform consistent activity: reach both below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, lift objects over 50 lbs.
Read and understand written instructions, estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability to competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
