About the Job: The Asset Maintenance Tech II plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment. This position handles more complex repairs, manages inventory, and mentors less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental‑ready.
Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure accurate documentation of check sheets.
Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
Deliver and/or pick up berms from customers.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field.
Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Welding experience is preferred.
Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in the rental/pump industry strongly preferred.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Prospective employees must submit to a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
