The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive consumer PR strategy that aligns with business objectives and marketing goals. This role requires the ability to craft compelling stories, drive cultural relevance, and secure top-tier media coverage across traditional and emerging consumer press. The Head of Consumer Communications will also be tasked with identifying and engaging with new and emerging media platforms, particularly those targeting Gen Z and Millennial consumers. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including marketing, social, and influencer teams, is essential to ensure that PR efforts are integrated into relevant campaigns and activations.
Applicants for this role at the company should have at least ten years of experience in the public relations and communications industry, with a focus on consumer PR. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining media relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, capable of creating compelling materials for both press and owned channels, and have the ability to make data-driven decisions to measure the effectiveness of PR efforts.
