About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Community Engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with community volunteer leaders to develop and implement an annual plan that meets the specific needs of the local community. This includes activities such as revenue generation, special event fundraising, and mission outreach to raise awareness of the company's programs and services. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing a volunteer leadership board and committees, as well as fostering high-impact relationships within the market.

Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years' of experience in a non-profit or related field, with a proven track record in volunteer stewardship and partnership development. The role requires proficiency in sales and relationship-building techniques, as well as the ability to translate the company's mission into effective, sustained relationships. Experience in managing a portfolio of revenue-generating activities, including special event fundraising and major gift solicitation, is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and will demonstrate the ability to remain calm and make prompt decisions in a complex, demanding environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams are also key competencies for this position.
