About the Role
The Vice President of Property Claims & Material Damage will be responsible for leading the national strategy and execution of material damage and property claims operations, ensuring alignment with underwriting risk appetites and corporate objectives. You’ll drive transformation initiatives by integrating automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and strengthen fraud prevention. You will develop and monitor performance metrics and benchmarks, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and champion a data-informed, customer-centric claims experience that improves satisfaction and retention. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior leadership to shape claims policy and operational priorities and lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent claims outcomes across both personal and commercial lines.
Candidates should bring extensive experience in complex property and material damage claims environments, with demonstrated success in senior leadership or executive-level roles that required strategic oversight and operational transformation. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with performance measurement, automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making are essential, as is a deep understanding of claims lifecycle management and industry best practices. Excellent leadership and communication abilities are required to influence cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and deliver measurable operational improvements. Experience across personal and/or commercial lines is valuable, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (with advanced credentials preferred) enhances suitability for this high-impact role.
