The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee all operational and maintenance activities across its fleet of district energy and power generation assets. This executive-level role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, safety, reliability, and commercial alignment of multiple facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, leading plant performance and maintenance programs, and serving as the senior interface with a contracted O&M partner. Key responsibilities also include building and managing budgets, conducting on-site visits for operational excellence, and implementing standardized procedures across the fleet. The role demands a hands-on leadership style, deep technical expertise in energy systems, and a strong background in managing multi-site operations and CAPEX budgets.
Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have 10-20 years' of experience in power generation, district energy, utilities, industrial energy systems, or critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in district energy/CHP operations leadership, strong operational rigor, and be a champion of safety culture. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred, and experience in leading veteran technical teams, with a military or industrial leadership background, is highly valued. The role requires an individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, who is a relationship-driven leader and enjoys being in a high-growth environment with direct executive exposure and decision-making authority. The Head of Operations will also be expected to contribute to the executive team on strategy, growth planning, and development projects.
