About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join their executive team and take on the pivotal role of driving all state and district revenue-generating functions. The CGO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy, setting and monitoring revenue targets, and leading a nationwide sales team. This includes fostering a high-performance, metrics-driven sales culture, defining a revenue enablement playbook, and overseeing customer success strategy to ensure meaningful utilization, retention, and expansion. The ideal candidate will be a proven K-12 revenue-driving leader with a passion for helping students develop healthy and proficient relationships with technology, and will have a strong background in sales strategy, forecasting, process improvement, and performance management.
The successful candidate for the CGO position at the company will have a track record of scaling high-performing teams and delivering results in the SaaS K-12 education market. They should be adept at collaborating with the executive team, particularly the CEO, CFO, and the Board, and have experience in a high-growth, mission-driven company. Expertise in sales strategy, accurate forecasting, and process improvement is essential, as is the ability to navigate change and lead within PE-backed or investor-driven environments. The role requires a strategic, data-informed leader with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to provide market and customer feedback to inform product development and go-to-market planning. The CGO will also be expected to promote system-level thinking, eliminate friction points, and accelerate decision-making across functions to support the company's growth and market expansion.
