About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its private credit investment fund. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the execution of unique cross-capital structured, asset-based investment opportunities. This role demands an experienced and entrepreneurial individual who can lead the underwriting and execution of complex asset-based and structured credit investments. Responsibilities include diligence, financial modeling, term sheet negotiation, documentation, and ongoing portfolio management. The Vice President will also be expected to have strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and coworkers, as well as the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Candidates for the Vice President position should have 4-7 years' of experience in underwriting and executing special situations, distressed private credit, or asset-based lending. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes workout and restructuring experience at a major commercial bank or credit manager, or transaction experience at a middle-market investment bank or financial advisory. Familiarity with legal documentation and intercreditor dynamics in ABL and structured lending deals is essential. The role is particularly suited to individuals who can demonstrate the ability to work directly with borrowers, intermediaries, and corporate sponsors, and who can collaborate effectively with internal teams.
