Overview

As a Senior Media Buyer at 829 Studios, you are a strategic leader responsible for architecting complex, multi‑channel media plans across Programmatic and Traditional Media to solve high‑level business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage integrated omnichannel campaigns across CTV, Video, Native, Audio, OOH, Linear, and Broadcast Radio.
  • Identify target audiences by analyzing demographics, movement patterns, and digital interests to build data‑driven profiles.
  • Evaluate and purchase digital media through major programmatic platforms (StackAdapt, Basis, DV360, MNTN) and PMP networks.
  • Own the measurement framework for assigned accounts, translating complex data into actionable insights focused on incrementality, Lifetime Value (LTV), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
  • Lead executive‑level client calls and QBRs, articulating how the channel mix maximizes reach and manages frequency.
  • Take ownership of ad server setup, pixel creation (CAPI), and quality assurance across all media types.
  • Facilitate relationships with premium publishers and audience providers to secure preferred pricing and first‑to‑market alpha/beta opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor junior buyers, fostering a culture of hands‑on optimization that goes beyond basic automation to drive performance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in digital media planning and buying, with deep expertise in both site‑direct and programmatic environments.
  • Expert‑level proficiency with DSPs (StackAdapt, DV360, Basis, TTD), Ad Server (Campaign Manager), and Web Analytics (GA4).
  • Proven track record managing OTT/CTV, Streaming Audio, and Traditional Linear/Radio.
  • Expert knowledge of remarketing, dynamic creative, CRM, lookalike, and predictive modeling tactics.
  • Ability to map data partners to the customer journey—activating contextual signals for awareness and deterministic identity for conversion.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story through data for high‑growth performance accounts.
