About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who continuously adapt and are excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role you will work cross‑functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development.

As the Google Display Ads (GDA) Product Manager you will shape and develop our strategy for offering advertisers campaign controls versus automation, lead groundbreaking work on location targeting initiatives, including location modeling and inference, and drive GDA’s efforts on Ad Intents – a new type of publisher ad inventory that creates contextually relevant, cookie‑optional placements. You will also own high‑impact areas of the Display business while deploying LLM‑based integrations and Machine Learning models.

Google Ads builds the most open internet by connecting people, publishers, advertisers, and Google with trusted tech. Our teams create experienced ads for businesses of all sizes, from small businesses to large brands to YouTube creators, delivering measurable results.

US base salary range is $156,000–$229,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by level, location, skillset, and experience. Recruiters will discuss details during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive GDA initiatives for Audiences and Targeting, including audience strategy, location, interest‑based, and contextual targeting.
  • Guide audience strategy, balancing automation versus controls for advertiser audiences.
  • Build and execute roadmaps for location and interest‑based targeting.
  • Collaborate with DemandGen to ensure the audience experience serves GDA use cases, creating PRDs that represent advertisers’ Display use cases.
  • Transform high‑intent keywords into relevant ads using Gemini assistance.
