Senior Creative Designer Job at Solomon Page in El Segundo

We are hiring a Senior Creative Designer to join a top beauty company based in El Segundo, CA.

• Pay Rate: $40/HR - $49.50/HR
• Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)
• Duration: 3 months (potential to extend)

Responsibilities

• Lead design campaigns across print and digital, ensuring cohesive 360º creative execution for launches and key initiatives.
• Manage projects from concept to final delivery, incorporating cross-functional feedback and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify creative needs and provide design solutions.
• Partner with external agencies to support campaign execution and creative initiatives.
• Provide artistic direction for photo shoots and offer guidance in post-production.
• Mentor and manage a team of designers, fostering creativity and professional growth.
• Communicate design concepts effectively through visual comps, interactive prototypes, and other deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-output creative environments.
• People management and mentorship experience preferred.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Mac systems; familiarity with PowerPoint and collaboration tools a plus.
• Strategic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of beauty, lifestyle, or luxury trends preferred.
