Overview
The Investor Relations function serves as the company’s primary interface with shareholders, institutional investors, financial analysts, and other market participants. This senior individual contributor role leads large‑scale projects, mentors team members, and tackles complex challenges to position Marsh as a compelling investment and deliver critical market insights to management.
Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of Investor Relations by applying advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills to deliver key IR outcomes and execute IR strategy
- Design and deliver compelling strategic, financial, and competitive analyses, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making and investor communication
- Prepare persuasive presentations for industry events, roadshows, investor meetings, and internal audiences including executive leadership and the board of directors
- Interpret complex financial data and conduct advanced analytics, modeling, valuation, and research at company and sector levels, keeping senior leadership informed on relevant trends
- Lead regular calls and meetings with investors and analysts to address company‑related inquiries and contribute to planning investor outreach effort
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with functional and practice leaders across the company and partner with finance teams to support senior management objectives
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in equity research, investor relations, or a related finance role; equity research experience in insurance is a strong plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance impact, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA and/or CFA designation
- Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
