As a Senior UX Designer, you will design intuitive, desirable, functional user experiences that enable a better "on the go" and "in cab" experience across our mobile FieldView platform, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive delivery of the experience within the product.
Location
St. Louis, Illinois; Chicago, IL; or remote within the Midwest.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders on product teams (squads) to understand user requirements and business objectives.
- Partner with UX researchers & product leaders to plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies.
- Observe, analyze, and synthesize data, creating customer journeys, user personas, and actionable insights translated into tangible design.
- Create intuitive, accessible, responsive wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for omni‑channel experiences that clearly articulate design concepts and interactions.
- Integrate iterative, agile design approaches to testing & learning through direct user & stakeholder feedback and usability testing.
- Bring up‑to‑date industry trends and best practices in UX design.
- Provide design guidance and feedback to team members.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and standards to create a cohesive experience.
- Make timely, informed decisions that consider facts, outcomes, constraints, and risks of a project or task.
Who You Are
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design approach and key projects/products.
- 5–12 years of experience as a UX/UI/Product Designer for mobile and desktop.
- 2+ years of experience conducting user research.
- Proficiency in advanced usage of Figma, including rapid prototyping and using shared design systems.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self‑managed, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Genuine curiosity and high ability to learn.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Understanding of the digital agriculture or related industries.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile interface guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $120k–$160k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
