BIG PICTURE:

We are seeking an experienced scripted Senior Producer to support the creative and operational production of episodes for our Main Channel on YouTube. This role is a pivotal partner to the Showrunner in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality scripted content that aligns with our brand's mission of changing lives through storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with recent scale success on YouTube, dramatic writing, digital content production, track record of leading YouTube series to creative and audience growth, and the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced YouTube content production schedule. You will provide the vision, passion and expertise to ensure our channel continues to grow and super-serve our audience and mission.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Oversee and lead all aspects of episodes for the Main YouTube Channel, from concept development and writing through post-production, ensuring each project meets our high standards for quality storytelling and viewership.
• Collaborate closely with writers, directors, casting, wardrobe, set dec, and production to develop compelling narratives that resonate with our global audience.
• Provide creative feedback throughout the production process, ensuring all content is aligned with Dhar Mann Studios' vision and messaging.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards across all episodes to ensure consistency in content output.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the creative team and other departments, including casting, post-production, and social.
• Mentor the crews, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members can contribute effectively to the creative process.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Monitor trends, competitive landscape, best practices, platform dynamics, audience feedback and analytics to continuously refine and improve YouTube audience growth.
• Innovate new creative approaches to drive new audience growth as well as improve production efficiency.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Recent experience with a hands-on understanding of the YouTube and Facebook platforms and other social media channels, including trends, audience behavior, and content formats.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Producer and writer with a strong background in YouTube, digital media and scripted content.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a creative team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Excellent YouTube-centric storytelling abilities with a keen eye for compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative visions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for creating content that has a positive impact on audiences.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and project management tools including Google Workspace and Monday.com
• Able to communicate concisely and adept at responding quickly to messages in chat while also managing and staying on top of tasks discussed in multiple chat groups; expectation of responding to communication after hours and on weekends
• Must be able to be in the Burbank studios 5 days a week

The Senior Producer will report directly to the Showrunner - Main Channel.

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

This role has no direct reports but most partner with production and other creative departments to deliver the episodes.

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

All the action takes place at our studio in Burbank, CA.
