Cost Estimator
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates across all construction divisions. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and research material specifications and pricing. Calculate labor costs based on project scope, location, and timelines. Communicate with contractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and scope clarification. Support management in bid preparation and pricing decisions for construction and manufacturing projects. Specialize estimates based on project type, service offered, or product manufactured. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or related field 1 year of experience as Cost Estimator or closely related occupation Must have experience estimating material costs based on architectural and engineering drawings; Use of digital tools for cost modeling and estimates; and Building cost models, cash flow forecasts, bid comparisons.
