Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our engineering team in the design and development of mechanical systems for various projects. This role involves collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure the effective integration of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems in commercial and healthcare buildings.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for commercial and healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed design specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Oversee the construction phase, ensuring design implementation and addressing site issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on design best practices.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency in HVAC and plumbing system design.
- Experience in commercial and healthcare construction projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of design build processes and standards.
