Job Description ProSidian seeks a Help Desk Support Service Specialist—Associate | IT Effectiveness—User Support Help Desk (NPS010015) – 2080 hrs. ST | 0 hrs. OT on an Exempt [W2] Contract Contingent Basis Engagement. Team | Analyst 3 Labor Category – Mid Level. Located CONUS: Washington, DC, and Reston, Virginia, and the National Information Systems Center (NISC) in Denver, Colorado. Across the Mid‑Atlantic Region supporting NPS, which manages national parks and other sites, providing IT and telecom services. Seeking candidates with relevant Government and Public Services sector experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government and Public Services sector clients such as NPS. This is a contract contingent or Contract W‑2 (IRS‑1099) position; ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full‑time W‑2 position. Job Overview Provide services and support as an Information Technology Center Support (Help Desk Support Service Specialist—Associate) in the Government and Public Services industry sector focusing on IT services solutions for clients such as the Department of the Interior (DOI | NPS). Serve as a help‑desk specialist and provide coverage for swim‑lane tasks aligned with Task 2.4.1 User Support Help Desk activities, providing associate‑level technical assistance to end‑users at the NPS, including basic troubleshooting. Assist intermediate and senior IT staff in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Qualifications Associate‑level technical support experience. Familiarity with system administration and basic network troubleshooting procedures. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification. Business process best practices, change management. Systems administration and tier 1‑3 technical support. IT service management (ITSM), operating system support. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or advanced certifications. Skills Required Associate degree or equivalent technical support experience. 3+ years of experience in IT help‑desk roles, with certifications. Change management, SOP creation.
