Continuous Improvement Manager
Direct Hire | Madison, WI
Salary Range: $120,000–$130,000

Overview

We are partnering with a Madison-based organization to identify a high-impact Continuous Improvement Manager who will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall business performance.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can translate data and insight into sustainable improvements while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization

  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies

  • Analyze operational and performance data to identify improvement opportunities across operations, supply chain, production, and administrative functions

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, manage, and execute the organization’s continuous improvement roadmap

  • Partner with senior leadership to align CI initiatives with strategic business objectives

  • Establish KPIs, monitor results, and report measurable performance improvements

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and coach employees on CI tools, methodologies, and structured problem-solving

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration

  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and improvement events to build organizational capability

Change Management

  • Lead change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems

  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to address resistance and sustain long-term improvements


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process optimization, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain environments

  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred

  • Core Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills

    • Demonstrated success delivering measurable operational improvements

    • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization
