Novolex Packaging Associate

Compensation includes a competitive starting pay rate of $17.74 per hour, paid weekly. Eligible for a monthly bonus based on plant productivity. Refer friends and family for extra money. Available shifts include 1st, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 3rd, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am. Essential duties and responsibilities include handling and packaging products and monitoring the quality of the product. Manufacturing/production/warehouse experience is desired. Previous packaging experience is a plus. Previous experience working on a production floor is a plus. Qualifications include Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience. Ability to add and subtract 4-digit numbers. Basic knowledge of machinery or process required. Must be able to read, write & understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, positively interact with coworkers and management, and deal effectively & professionally under pressure. The job requires the use of established guidelines that are well defined or detailed with little or no choice of action. Must make decisions regarding product quality and acceptability.
