Catia V5 Cnc Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CATIA V5 CNC Programmer to support our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on using CATIA V5 and Vericut for machining applications rather than design work, ensuring accurate conversion of customer-supplied 3D models into CNC programs and overseeing the entire manufacturing process from model review through to successful machining. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Vericut software to cross-process and review customer-provided CATIA V5 3D models for machinability, accuracy, and safety prior to production. Select appropriate tooling for deep cuts or milling processes based on material, part geometry, and required tolerances. Convert CATIA models into CNC programs using CATIA's manufacturing modules and programming best practices. Oversee CNC tool selection, machine setup, and preparation of all equipment prior to program execution. Load CNC programs to the machine (via USB or network connection) and perform initial machine runs, monitoring for successful execution or troubleshooting as necessary. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and quality teams to resolve machining issues and optimize process performance. Document setup details, tool paths, and process changes for repeatability and knowledge sharing. Requirements Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with CATIA V5 in a manufacturing or CNC programming environment. Proficient use of Vericut for simulation and process validation. Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, and G-code/M-code programming. Ability to read technical drawings and inspect customer-supplied CAD models for potential production issues. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience with a variety of CNC machine types (e.g., mills, lathes, multi-axis). Familiarity with different materials and machining strategies for optimized part production.
