Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with all community policies and procedures as defined by the Board of Directors. Plan, develop, and approve operational policies, procedures, and regulations for general operations. Direct the work of all department managers. Primary driver in developing the annual operating, cash, and capital budgets; create checkpoints to assess budget compliance. Prepare monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors on time. Coordinate the development of long‑range and annual business plans aligned with association by‑laws and policies. Oversee the impact of association policies and programs; recommend changes as needed. Monitor quality of association products and services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction. Secure and protect all association assets. Maintain ongoing dialogue with members to gather input on association direction and improvements. Coordinate with the Board of Directors on the development and implementation of all strategic plans. Secondary Duties/Responsibilities Plan, develop, and approve specific operational programs, procedures, and rules in concert with general policies. Evaluate committee activities that report to the general manager. Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Provide counsel to management staff to ensure employees are properly trained, supervised, scheduled, and knowledgeable of their responsibilities. Develop, maintain, and disseminate a basic management philosophy to guide all association personnel toward optimal operating results. Support internal controls. Perform other duties as directed.
