Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing physical therapy services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting in the San Juan Capistrano area, this role supports students from preschool through high school during a maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year. This contract position offers flexibility, with part-time hours around 20 weekly and a preference for up to 30 hours, designed to accommodate varying schedules. Responsibilities include: Delivering physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to a diverse school-aged caseload of approximately 35 students. Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Adjusting therapy plans as needed to support student progress and school goals. Qualifications: Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Hold an active California Physical Therapist license. Experience working with school-aged children, ideally from 0 to 9 years or more. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment. Flexibility to manage fluctuating caseload hours and work on-site. Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA.
