We are seeking a full-time elder care provider in East Patchogue, New York. This position is live-out and will mostly involve overnight stays. Charge is our lovely 83 yr old mom who is in moderate/severe stages of dementia. Our ideal candidate is compassionate and patient with experience caring for dementia and Alzheimers individuals. They should be capable of administering medication, assisting with bathing (if needed) and providing personal care however mostly it will be to provide companionship and peace of mind during the overnight hours. The hourly rate for this position is $20 and the number of hours needed at this point to to be determined.
