About KSFY KSFY/KDLT is located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. The station operates nine over‑the‑air channels and produces seven hours of local news daily. It carries ABC, NBC, FOX, and several other networks. Job Summary Dakota News Now seeks a dynamic Technical Media Producer to join our award‑winning teams. The Technical Media Producer directs live or pre‑recorded productions, monitors the station’s on‑air signals, transmitter and FCC logs, and ingests daily programming and commercials. Duties & Responsibilities Direct live and pre‑recorded productions as assigned and monitor all on‑air streams for the station. Operate Ross Overdrive automation, production video switcher, ITX automation, VizRT graphics, and all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control; including robotic camera operation, prompter operation, audio operation, commercial/promo ingesting, satellite operation, and program ingesting/segmenting. Maintain FCC program and transmitter logs and comply with all FCC broadcast regulations. Work with ENPS, the newsroom computer system. Understand all equipment in studios and production areas and dedicate care to equipment. Work closely with all other departments to meet all daily demands. Train new personnel as assigned. Assist Production Supervisor in maintaining clean studios and production areas. Variable work schedule due to changing shifts, turnover, station projects, etc. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Great communication and people skills. Operating knowledge of PCs and graphics computers. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Computer literacy, including newsroom computer systems. Schedule flexibility.
