R-116108**Job Description:**The Area Asset Protection Manager is responsible for the overall inventory shortage performance and total execution of the Asset Protection Strategy for their respective stores. This individual will ensure that all company policies, local, provincial, and federal laws are adhered to in the execution of internal and external theft investigations or inquiries. The Area Asset Protection Manager will be working collaboratively with Customer and Associate groups within the store to ensure all objectives are clearly communicated and executed.Primary Job FunctionsOversee and ensure the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis with the Asset Protection InvestigatorsConsistently communicate with Store Leadership, Managers and Associates to drive awareness of inventory shortage results, shortage concerns and strategy initiativesProvide final oversight of audit execution and internal audit readinessWork with sales support to assure shortage control processes are followedWho Are You:Inspirational leader through both action and collaboration who can be relied upon to see the potential of those around themCreate an environment of excellence that promotes a high performance culture, encourages associates to share ideas and recognizes and acknowledges individual and store team performanceConstantly acquire new industry knowledge and skills and share learnings with team members and colleaguesEstablish positive relationships, act with customers in mind, and have great networking and relationship managementHave a clear view of how the different abilities, background and cultures of team members work together to create a collaborative environment and deliver resultsAct as a coach and role model to bring out the best in your teamYou Also Have:High School diploma or equivalency required, along with a valid provincial security license (some states).
