This is a top-tier position for a professional who has proven themselves over time and can deliver premium results.

*✅ Top Requirements (Must-Haves)*

* *5+ years of HVAC design and application engineering experience* (residential and light commercial)
* *Documented prior-year earnings > $125,000* — demonstrating proven track record of high performance
* Deep knowledge of *load calculations, system design, equipment selection, ductwork / hydronics, heat-pump and high-efficiency systems, zoning, and ductless/mini-split design*
* Professional certifications and credentials preferred (e.g. ACCA Manual J & D, EPA universal, NATE, or equivalent) — Tyler already holds licensing/licensure standards as a baseline.
* Excellent communication skills; able to clearly explain design choices and work collaboratively with sales, installation, and service teams

*What You’ll Do at Tyler Air … as a HVAC Sales Professional*

* Develop accurate, build-ready HVAC system designs (load calculations, equipment sizing, ductwork/hydronic layout, heat-pump/ductless/mini-split applications) in alignment with Tyler Air’s high-quality standards and service area needs for Fairfield & New Haven counties.
* Provide application expertise and technical guidance to the Installation Teams for both new installs and service/replace jobs.
* Ensure system designs meet or exceed efficiency, comfort, and code standards; minimize install errors, callbacks, and field adjustments.
* Support both residential and light commercial HVAC projects, including heat, cooling, indoor air quality, ductless and ducted systems, per Tyler Air’s broad service offering.
* Work as a senior application and design technical resource — helping to raise the workmanship bar, mentor others (if applicable), and contribute to continuous improvement of design and install practices.
