Location: Richardson, TX (Hybrid). Remote eligibility available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities Design analog building blocks including multi‑GHz PLLs, sense amplifiers, charge pumps, bandgap, serial interfaces, and data converters.
Run pre‑tapeout verification flows to confirm that design meets performance, power, reliability, and timing requirements.
Collaborate with mask‑design engineers to deliver the physical design and define production/bench‑level test plans with post‑silicon characterization groups for silicon evaluation.
Work closely with the digital team to ensure quality of final SoC and mixed‑signal design delivery.
Create and maintain documentation for related project work and improve the design flow.
Lead and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications MSEE/PhD with 3–10 years of experience or BSEE with 5–10 years (MS or PhD preferred).
Strong experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
Hands‑on design experience in performance analog and hybrid PLLs, ADCs, DACs, VCOs, LDOs, bandgap, charge pumps, op‑amps, interpolator circuits.
Proficient with Cadence custom circuit design tools (ADE‑L, ADE‑XL) and running Monte‑Carlo, noise, aging, EM and IR‑drop simulations; Synopsys CustomCompiler experience.
Strong experience with simulation tools such as Spectre, Hspice, PrimeSim.
MATLAB, SystemVerilog, Python skills are preferable.
Capable of understanding DRC and LVS results with verification tools (Calibre, ICV, or PVS).
Experience with ROIC chips is preferred.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and positive energy.
Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Self‑starter able to independently drive tasks to completion.
