Responsibilities General HR Duties

Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across job sites and office locations.

Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, OSHA requirements, and EEO guidelines.

Manage employee lifecycle processes (promotions, transfers, terminations) in alignment with company standards.

Support recruitment efforts for field and office positions, including onboarding and orientation programs.

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation for audits and reporting.

Employee Relations

Act as the primary point of contact for field employees regarding HR‑related concerns.

Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Conduct regular site visits to maintain visibility and build trust with field teams.

Partner with supervisors and project managers to address performance issues and coach on corrective action processes.

Develop and implement strategies to improve morale, retention, and engagement among field employees.

Training & Development

Coordinate training programs for field employees, including safety, leadership, and compliance training.

Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors on effective people‑management practices.

HR Metrics & Reporting

Track and analyze employee relations trends, turnover, and engagement data to inform decision‑making.

Prepare reports for leadership on HR initiatives and workforce health.

Qualifications What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years within construction or a similar industry

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across the nation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with diverse teams

Preferred Skills

2+ years focus within Employee Relations

Experience with non‑union labor environments

Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Conflict resolution and negotiation expertise
