This position is a key member of the Shared Services Team, reporting to the President. The role will become the subject matter expert in all HR related software and programs including AI-related resources.

Overview Position:

Human Resources/ Employee Success Manager

at MSM Inc. This role focuses on administering HR programs, enhancing employee experience, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading HR-related initiatives.

Job Accountabilities ADMINISTER AND EXECUTE HR PROGRAMS:

These may relate to compensation, benefits, various leave programs, employee relations, performance & talent management, productivity, recognition, training & development

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT:

Promotes the health and well-being of employees via a variety of methods, including an annual employee engagement survey

Develop & implement ways to enhance the employee experience

COMPLIANCE, POLICIES & PROCEDURES:

Ensure compliance with all State & Federal labor laws and regulations

Implement and enforce policies & procedures

Maintain the company policy manual

Key Responsibilities:

Records Management:

Maintaining and updating HR records.

HR Data & Analysis:

Collect, analyze and report HR data to leadership to assist in the decision making process.

Recruiting and Onboarding:

Managing job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers, as well as managing the onboarding process, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations:

Addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and fostering a positive work environment. Provide coaching when needed.

Benefits Administration:

Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other health and welfare benefits and programs.

Compensation:

Assisting with salary adjustments, raises, and other compensation-related matters.

Performance Management:

Manage the performance evaluation process, feedback, and goal-setting.

Training and Development:

Identifying training needs, coordinating workshops, and supporting professional development.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

HR Policies and Procedures:

Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Employee Engagement:

Promoting employee engagement and fostering a positive work environment.

Risk Management:

Assisting with risk management duties within Human Resources.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience with HRIS and other HR Software: Proficient in using HR Information Systems and other HR software including related AI applications.

Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Able to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills: Provide coaching to help identify and resolve employee issues.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at various stages of completion.

Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.

Knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations: Familiar with relevant employment laws and regulations.

Bachelor\'s Degree: In Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Salary and Schedule

The pay range posted for this position is purposefully broad. The initial compensation offered may be outside of this range and will be determined by multiple factors, including the applicant\'s job-related skills, relevant experience, and education.

Location and Hybrid Schedule:

This is a hybrid role requiring Tuesday - Thursday in Webster, NY.
