University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Saline, MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring client comfort, and promoting independence in a safe and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility and transferring clients safely using proper techniques.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided.
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
Must be able to pass background checks and any required screenings.
Valid driver’s license/ Id card and reliable transportation to be able to make it to the client home.
Benefits
Competitive pay of $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, paid twice a month.
